Transneft Upper Volga Joint Stock Company is Transneft’s (Transneft, JSC before June 30, 2016) subsidiary.
The Company’s principal objectives are receipt and transportation of oil and oil products via oil and oil product trunk pipelines to refineries of Central Russia and for subsequent export shipments.
Oil and oil product trunk pipelines of Transneft Upper Volga, such as Surgut – Polotsk, Gorky – Yaroslavl, Yaroslavl – Moscow, Ryazan – Moscow, Gorky – Ryazan, Almetievsk – Gorky, Gorky – Novky, Novky – Ryazan, Vtorovo – Yaroslavl, Ryazan – Tula – Orel, circular OPTP cross the thirteen constituents of the Russian Federation, the country’s biggest water arteries – the Volga, the Oka, the Sura, the Klyazma the Moskva rivers, and have the total oil and oil pipeline length of approx. 6,000 km on the single-line basis. A set of 22 oil and oil product pump stations, 32 pump stations, and 9 tank farms with 5K, 10K, 20K, 30K and 50K cubic meter tanks facilitate the system operation.
To enhance the reliability and ensure fail-free operation of oil trunk pipelines, great investments are made into diagnosis, reconstruction, upgrading the refurbishment of the equipment, linear portion, oil pump stations, products pump stations and tank farms.
Transneft Upper Volga includes: Gorky, Ryazan, Mari, Volodar ROPD, Transneftemash Factory of Velikiye Luki, Kstovo Base of Production Service and equipment supply.
