Transneftemash Factory of Velikiye Luki, a facility of Transneft Upper Volga, has reported its preliminary results for 2018.
The factory’s key activity is manufacture of special purpose products and equipment for overhauling, revamping and constructing oil and petroleum products pipelines, and supply of such products and equipment to Transneft subsidiaries.
The company’s product mix consists of dozens of items. Year to date, the factory has produced 23.8 thousand product units worth more than RUB 2.4 billion, including: 4 oil and petroleum products’ lease automatic custody transfer units, 17 mobile and 10 fixed oil and petroleum products quality parameters measurement units, 2 petroleum products’ filtration units, 14 boiler houses, 3 shelter-type facility control and monitoring stations, 4 units for adding drag-reducing agents into oil pipelines, 363 manholes for equipment, instrumentation and meters as well as about 1.7 thousand fire safety equipment units.
The factory’s products are certified, patented and characterised by high quality. They meet consumers’ high expectations and are broadly used in the oil industry. Efficient implementation of the import substitution programme has been an important task pursued by the factory in 2018. As a result, the share of domestically manufactured components in the end product has grown to 90%, and even up to 100% for certain products.
Transneftemash is currently implementing its development programme approved for the period up to 2020. A robotic welding shop, a machining shop and a roofed warehousing facility with administrative and amenity rooms have been commissioned. The current machine-tool fleet of the factory counts over 140 units of workpiece manufacturing, metal-working and welding equipment.
