Emergency response teams of the Volodarsk Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Upper Volga promptly arrived at the site of the petroleum products release. According to preliminary data, the leakage of petroleum products was caused by a burst illegal tapping. The pollution covered an area of 12 m2. Employees of the Company have eliminated the release of petroleum products, and currently work is underway to clean up the territory, collect petroleum products and remove polluted soil.
