Transneft Upper Volga has completed technical upgrading of block boiler houses at the Starolikeyevo and Vorotynets line operation dispatcher stations located in Kstovsky and Vorotynetsky Districts of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The works were performed as part of Transneft Upper Volga’s technical upgrading programme. The goal is to increase reliability of heat supply to the oil pumping stations’ facilities and ensure uninterrupted oil transportation via Transneft’s system of trunk pipelines.
At the Vorotynets LODS, new UVT-4 block-modular boiler houses with a capacity of 2 mW each were installed and equipped with enhanced efficiency boilers with modulated combined gas burners and chimneys. Lightning rods were installed and tanks for reserve fuel were constructed.
Five boilers of 2 MW each with a total capacity of 10 MW were installed at the boiler house of the Starolikeyevo LODS. Chimneys, windows and doors were replaced, a new technological piping of the fuel pipe system, as well as power supply systems and automation were installed.
Individual tests were conducted at all the facilities.
After the technical upgrading completion, the new boiler houses at the Starolikeyevo and Vorotynets LODS were put into operation.
