Transneft Upper Volga Carries Out Technical Upgrading of Oil System of Oil Pump House at Filino Oil Pumping Station

Transneft Upper Volga has completed technical upgrading of the oil system of oil pump house No. 1 at the Filino oil pumping station, the Gorky — Yaroslavl petroleum products trunk pipeline in Vladimir Region.

The set of measures was conducted as part of the development, technical upgrading and revamping programme covering Transneft’s trunk pipelines facilities. The goal is to increase reliability of heat supply to the oil pumping stations’ facilities and ensure uninterrupted petroleum products transportation via the trunk pipeline system.

The works on technical upgrading began in February 2019. The construction of the oil system building equipped with new oil pumps, operating oil tanks, oil filters, stop valves and air cooling devices was completed. Three tanks for storing oil with a volume of 5 m3 were mounted. The storage tank, oil supply and removal pipelines of the mainline pump units were replaced.

The works on the Filino oil pumping station were carried out without interruption of pumping at the Gorky — Yaroslavl PPTP. Individual and comprehensive tests were conducted at the facility. After the completion of the technical upgrading, the new oil system of the oil pump house of the Filino oil pumping station was put into operation.
