Transneft Upper Volga Сompletes 2nd Stage of Revamping of Ryazan LODS

Transneft Upper Volga has completed 2nd stage of revamping of the Ryazan line operation dispatcher station (LODS) located in the city of Ryazan.

The operations were performed in accordance with the integrated technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul programme for Transneft facilities.

The revamping of the Ryazan LODS was launched in December 2016.  During the 2nd stage of the work, a filling station and PIG traps were completely dismantled. Process pipelines with a length of 2,055 metres, 1,200 metres of overhead cable trays, a testing laboratory and a petroleum products storeroom, a pressure control unit, three petroleum products meter skids, two premises with electric drive-based gate valves for a PIG trap at the PIG unit, and three tanks for petroleum products drainage and spill collection were constructed. A substation with a voltage of PS-35/6 kV was reconstructed.
