Transneft Upper Volga has summed up its occupational health efforts for January-June 2020.
In the course of the past six months, 895 people completed training in specialised training centers. Apart from that, a total of 2801 staff members received regular examinations, while 1799 staff members were vaccinated.
Over the past six months, over RUB 60.3 mln were allocated for implementing various measures to keep up personnel health and implement other related projects. Special emphasis was placed on improving the equipment condition and working conditions of Transneft Upper Volga employees.
Under the conditions of countering the spread of the coronavirus infection in all branches and operational business units of Transneft Upper Volga, the requirements of sanitary legislation are strictly complied. The set of measures is aimed at ensuring the safety of employees' health and work performed, as well as preventing the shutdown of production processes.
Since 2009, Transneft Upper Volga has implemented the occupational health management system that provides a systematic approach to safety issues of the employees. Measures are taken regularly to develop the culture of safety, improve working conditions and ensure the competence of specialists involved in ensuring occupational health. The results of this work in the field of occupational health are assessed annually when conducting external audits for compliance of the occupational health management system (OHMS) with the requirements of the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 international standard.
